Case Study. Providing children with disabilities access to care in Georgia

This case study from Georgia provides an example of intervention strategies and its impact on children and families living with disabilities. It concentrates on Save the Children's activities in Telavi, Eastern Georgia, where children with disabilities have benefited from targeted mainstreaming that includes individual education plans and specially trained teachers. This program supported children with severe and moderate disabilities through home-based care services which accesses families and developed individualized care plan.
