No child should have to pay the price for adults' wars, but increasingly they do. Millions of children are killed, millions more are injured, and millions spend their entire childhood in camps and other temporary shelters. Children cannot wait for conflict to end before their educational needs are addressed. This is a report describing the situation of 43 million children without access to education in conflict-affected countries. Rewrite the Future’s overall project goal is to secure good quality education for all, and to give every child the opportunity to attend school in a safe, participatory environment.
