All children have the right to receive the support they require to ensure improved learning outcomes in elementary school. But children with disabilities are more likely to be excluded from the specialised individual educational support. The report 'Får jag vara med?' or 'Am I included?' describes the everyday school life for pupils with physical disabilities. Situations vary from child to child, but they still have much in common with each other and with other children. The school situation for these pupils is complex and requires efforts from all school personnel involved - teachers, assistants and principals to local and government authorities.
