Protect one, Protect all. Child Protection Systems are needed to keep children safe

Millions of children are at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence. Save the Children's job is to ensure vulnerable children are protected wherever they are, and to support and protect children who are exploited and caught up in conflicts and emergencies. Trafficked children are criminalised, and children who have been abandoned and abused are locked up in institutions. Working children are removed from work, missing out on wages proved essential to family survival. Governments, professionals and adults all have a duty to realise children’s rights to protection.
